This 8-week, semester-style online course is designed to take your allyship and antiracist practice to the next level!

With the politicization and attacks on DEI and societal debate around Critical Race Theory, it is important that we continue to think critically about our individual and collective roles in perpetuating and dismantling racism. How do we go about this when there is so much information and harmful debate surrounding this issue? Understanding the fundamentals of how racism was constructed and how it shows up in different social settings is where this class begins. Through engaging with Black-authored texts on antiracism, critical dialogues, popular cultural examples, and other media, this course will inform and encourage participants in their own practicing and advocacy of antiracism. By the end of this course, participants will put knowledge into action by designing their own capstone project that utilizes tools of antiracist practice.
