On Thursday August 18, 2016 540WMain’s Workforce Development, Entrepreneur, & College Preparatory Interns will present the first ever Historical Urban Art Walking Tour in the National Register Susan B. Anthony District. This is the first walking tour of its kind in the city of Rochester designed to educate young audiences as well as adults. The tour will guide audiences around the neighborhood while exploring nine different artistic masterpieces by various local artists.

Teen tour guides will discuss each piece, its relevance, and the history surrounding each art installation. The tour will be informative, educational and fun. This first tour session is FREE and open to the public but registration is required. ,

The Workforce Development, Entrepreneur & College Preparatory Internship is a seven week career focused education and entrepreneur development internship. The internship provides workforce development training through learning experiences, seminars, workshops, and event planning. Interns collaborate as a team to co-develop, co-design, and co-lead a series of community based projects where they learn and develop new organizational management, accounting, business, culinary, communication and leadership, skills all aimed to prepare them for college and beyond.
