540 Hires Freelance Writer Chris Thompson as First Regular Blog Contributor

We are pleased to announce that we have hired freelance writer and blogger Chris Thompson as our first 540Blog regular contributor.

Chris Thompson is a mechanical engineer by day and blogger, writer, and comedian his spare time. He has contributed to 540Blog in a guest capacity in the past and we are pleased to have him join the digital  team as a regular monthly contributor This continues our expansion of digital content across social media and web platforms. Chris will contribute essays and articles rooted pop culture, social justice, antiracism, diversity and inclusion.

Chris Thompson is an engineer, writer, comedian, and activist who made Rochester, New York his home in 2008. He currently writes the Chronicles of Nonsense segment for the Almost Tuesday show on WAYO-FM 104.3, and regularly posts and writes on his own on Instagram and Twitter at @ChronsOfNon. Chris is a Food Writer for Rochester City Newspaper. His blog is www.chroniclesofnonesense.com
