Intro to Vegan Lifestyle
Thursday November 29 | 7pm-8:30pm // $15
This class will focus on the history and culture of vegans, veganism and the vegan way of life.
A review of the material covered in Understanding Veganism (difference between ‘labels,’ such as vegan and whole food plant based) will be given, along with how a vegan diet can benefit you, the animals and the Earth.
A discussion will then follow on how you can transition to a vegan diet. Topics will include ideas for shopping, cooking, dining out, and dealing with the stigma of being vegan. This session will then conclude with tips on transitioning to a vegan lifestyle.
