Deaf Culture & Basic Sign Language

Monday October 15 // 7-9 PM

With Rochester having the highest Deaf population in the world it’s a given that more people are learning the basics of ASL.

Course Objectives 

Participants will leave with a new appreciation Deaf culture and language as well as resources to help them overcome interpersonal and societal barriers in interacting with the Deaf community.

Details 

—-> This course is taught by a Deaf educator.

—-> Basics include finger spelling, etiquette, alphabet, and simple communication signs.

—-> Class is $10 per person // Register and pay online
