Unpacking™ Evicted A Book Discussion

Join Founder/Executive Director in an informal and thought provoking discussion around socially conscious books that are must reads for anyone doing or interested in social and race activism work.

Matthew Desmond is a professor of sociology at Princeton University. After receiving his Ph.D. in 2010 from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, he joined the Harvard Society of Fellows as a Junior Fellow. He is the author of four books, including Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City (2016), which won the Pulitzer Prize, National Book Critics Circle Award, and Carnegie Medal, and PEN / John Kenneth Galbraith Award for Nonfiction.

Those deaf and hard of hearing are encouraged to register as interpreting services will be provided for all classes and programming at 540WMain.

Late Policy

Seat will be held 15 minutes after start of class.

All classes require cancellation at least 48 hours before the date of the class or event. If not then course fee is non-refundable and cannot be applied to a future class or event.
