540WMain Community Learning Academy presents:

Intro to Urbanism & Sustainability

Tuesday September 11 // 7pm-8:30pm

As our city evolves and changes the needs of us as citizens changes as well. Major development, a return to the city center, and Pace Bikeshare make the Rochester of today look different from the Rochester of 20 years ago.
The way we use and navigate our city as a natural resource needs to change if we expect it to be viable and livable for future generations.
This panel workshop styled class will feature special guests that will walk students through the history of urbanism, what it means to be an urbanist and how and what things we can all individually do to make Rochester more sustainable for all.
—> Class fee $6/person
—> RSVP in advance // pay at the door
—> Students are encouraged to bring a notebook, pencil, and an open mind
Those deaf and hard of hearing are encouraged to register as interpreting services will be provided upon request at least 10 days prior to course start time.
