540WMain Community Learning Academy presents: Sugar Addiction In The Black Community: Detoxing Your Family In 4 Easy Steps

Sugar is 8x more addictive than cocaine but doesn’t have to be!

Led by graduate student dietician Valyn Reed, “Sugar Addiction” will explore systemic factors that have enslaved blacks and persons of color to sugar and how you can begin to break the cycle of sugar addiction for you and your family in 2018

Class fee : $10/person advanced registration required Open to all ages 11 and up

Participants will leave with recipes, an infographic and knowledge. This course is open to all but tailored specifically for the black and brown community.

Those deaf and hard of hearing are encouraged to register as interpreting services will be provided upon request.

Late Policy

Seat will be held 15 minutes after start of class.

All classes require cancellation at least 48 hours before the date of the class or event. If not then course fee is non-refundable and cannot be applied to a future class or event.
