How old are you?
JL: I just turned 17 years old.
Where were you born?
JL: I was born in South Carolina but grew up here in Rochester.
What do you like to do in your free time?
JL: In my free time I like to be active. I run through Cobbs Hill Trails.
What is your favorite food?
JL: I like spinach and artichoke dip as well as steak and potatoes.
What is one of your hobbies?
JL: I like taking pictures.
What sports or activities have you participated in the past?
JL:When I was in 7th grade I played basketball and volleyball. In 10th grades I tried cheerleading and in 4th grade I was in karate class.
What are your greatest talents? If I needed your help to do something what would it be?
JL: I am a pretty good cook; and I’m also good at taking pictures and styling hair.
What languages does your family speak at home?
JL: My family speaks Spanish & English at home.
What is something that you fear?
JL: I fear mice and dirty ears.
What classes do you love and hate in school?
JL: I love ELA because I like writing. I was born with a speech impediment. I dislike math and science.
Describe your favorite teacher? What types of things did you do in that class
JL: I don’t have a favorite teacher.
What do you look forward to doing in this internship?
JL: I look forward to planting and giving back to the community.
