540WMain Cares Program

We are thrilled to announce The Harts 540WMain December Cares Fundraising Campaign

Today is the official launch of The 540WMain Cares Initiative

The 540WMain Cares Initiative sees 540WMain, our community center in the Susan B. Anthony district that houses the Rochester Afterschool Program, holistic living workshops and art programming partner with local and regional corporate sponsors in an effort to increase its reach in the Greater Rochester community and beyond.

The Harts 540WMain December Cares Fundraising Campaign

Throughout the entire month of December Harts Local Grocers, an independent full service grocery store in Rochester’s East End will allow its customers to donate to 540WMain at checkout in increments of $1, $5 or by rounding up. Shoppers will also have the option to donate supplies or healthy snacks to 540WMain’s flagship program; The Rochester Afterschool Program.

I am thrilled that Harts Local Grocers has partnered with us to help us continue our mission of providing culturally rich academic programming, workshops, and events to Rochester’s Westside and the Historic Susan B. Anthony District.

As regular shopper of Hart’s since their opening in 2014, I am truly honored that they are supporting us through this unique partnership.

The public is invited to meet 540WMain’s Founder and Creative Director during a meet and greet, which will take place on Saturday December 3 from 2 to 4 pm at Harts Local Grocers, located at 10 Winthrop Street. Part of the meet and greet will be live streamed on 540WMain’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/540WMain/.

Additional events to promote The Hart’s & 540WMain December Cares Fundraising Campaign will happen throughout the entire month of December and will include a special field trip hosted by Harts for scholars enrolled in The Rochester Afterschool Program and indie makers faire featuring Harts hosted by 540WMain on Sunday December 18, 2016.
